Our St Martin Vacation at La Samanna
Our children, Bette and David were on a winter break so Julie and I decided to get out of the cold NYC. We choose La Samanna, a luxury resort in St. Martin. By 2 pm we were on La Samanna's beautiful beach enjoying a Pina Colada. Their Infinity Pool is just as breathtaking as the sunsets. Dinner at La Reserve was delicious with many fresh fish and meat dishes to choose. After dinner we picked out several dvd's to watch on our flat panel tv in our room. We all had a great first day!
Each day at 7 am I would do my yoga. We had a big family breakfast daily from 8 - 10 am. Then we went to the beach to relax by the warm turquoise ocean water. Lunch at The Grill was delightful beside the Main Pool. Betty and David loved the pool especially at 3 pm when ice cream cones are served. We just love La Samanna. The hotel is beautiful. Our Villa was right on the beach which made it even more exquisite. I brought my Apple Laptop and briskly surfed the internet via the wifi hotspot in our room. We enjoyed the weekly lobster dinner at their Beach Bar restaurant. It was lots of fun. <p>La Samanna is an Orient Express Hotel with very high standards. The Service was always friendly and all the staff was helpful. Rooms are luxurious.
